The trouble with gift guides is that most of them are written to sell you everything. This one is written to help you buy one thing, well.
Everything below is made by hand in Rajasthan — printed with carved wooden blocks, quilted by people whose names we know — and 10% of profits to grassroots initiatives across India. So whatever you pick, the gift does a little more than sit under a tree. Here is how to choose.
Start with the budget
Prices are honest and in euros; everything ships from our UK warehouse.
Under €40
A cotton travel set (from €30) — three nesting, plastic-lined pouches in one print. The small one for jewellery and chargers, the medium for skincare, the large for the shampoo that always leaks. This is the most-bought "second gift" we make, because it slots into a bag the person already owns. The Ikat and Floral sets are €30; the Mouse Tiger €35; the Tibetan Tiger, Jungle and Striped sets €40.
A velvet make-up bag (€32) — a single plush pouch in Suzani, Indigo Petal or Amber Lotus. The stocking-filler that does not look like one.
A velvet cushion cover (from €30) — 40 × 40 cm, cover only, in the Tibetan Tiger (€35), Ikat or Striped velvet. For the person whose home is their project.
The Mouse Tiger Tote (€33) and The Tibetan Tiger Tote (€39) — full-size everyday cotton totes that come in under forty. The Tibetan Tiger is the bag the brand was built on; it comes in twelve colours, so there is one for every person on your list.
€40 to €60
A cotton tote (€40–50) — the everyday gift. Big enough for a laptop or a rolled yoga mat, machine washable, and it goes with everything. The Striped Cotton Tote (€44) is the one to give when you are not sure of someone's taste; the Jungle Tote (€49) when you are.
A cotton yoga mat bag (€52) — for the friend who carries a mat to work. Fits a standard mat, adjustable strap, front zip pocket for keys and the post-class coffee money. A velvet travel set (from €35 to €56) — the plush version of the pouches above. The Tibetan Tiger Velvet and Jungle Velvet sets (€56) are the ones that get photographed on hotel washstands.
A cotton weekender (from €56) — carry-on sized, washable, the bag for the person who is always going somewhere.
€60 to €90
A velvet tote (€56–66) — the same everyday shape as the cotton tote, in plush cotton velvet. This is the gift that feels like more than it cost. The Tibetan Tiger Tote in Velvet (€65) is our most-given.
A velvet yoga mat bag (€62) — for the yoga teacher who has everything, and definitely has a mat bag, but not one like this.
A cotton weekender (€66–70) in the heritage prints — Tibetan Tiger, Jungle, Leopard — is the gift for a hen weekend, a retreat, a first grown-up trip.
A velvet weekender (€80–90) — the top of the range and the honeymoon gift. The Tibetan Tiger Velvet Weekender and Jungle Velvet Weekender are the two people ask for by name.
A gift card (€20–200) — for the person you would rather let choose. Twelve colourways of one tote is a lot of chances to get it wrong; this is how you get it right.
Or start with the person
The yoga teacher. A yoga mat bag — cotton if they teach every day and it will see the washing machine, velvet if they are the kind of teacher who arrives looking put-together. Pair it with a cotton tote in the same print and you have given them the studio-to-café outfit.
The friend who travels constantly. A cotton weekender, which is carry-on sized on every major airline, plus a travel set to go inside it. Our Carry-On Guide is the card to slip in with it.
The one who already has a bag. A travel set. It slots into whatever they carry and gets used on the first trip.
The home-maker. A velvet cushion, or two. The Tibetan Tiger cushion has a particular story — the print descends from the rugs Tibetan lamas meditated on, so a cushion is the closest thing we make to the original. That story is here, and it makes a good line on the card.

Cotton or velvet?
Every print comes both ways and it is the question we are asked most. The short answer: cotton for someone whose bag will get used hard and washed — the beach, the gym, the school run. Velvet for someone whose bag goes from a hallway to a car to a restaurant, and who would enjoy it feeling like an occasion. Velvet is €10–25 more for the same print and is spot-clean only. How it arrives
Every piece comes wrapped in tissue paper inside a recyclable kraft mailer. The wrapping is deliberately quiet; most people add their own ribbon. You can write a gift message at checkout and we will hand-write it onto a card. Nothing in the parcel shows a price.
Orders ship from our UK warehouse in Woking. UK and Ireland orders usually arrive in 2–5 working days, the rest of Europe in 5–10. In December the post gets slower everywhere, so if a gift is for a specific date, order in the first half of the month and we will both sleep better.
A note on what you are giving
Every bag here was printed by someone pressing a carved wooden block onto cotton, one impression at a time, and quilted by hand in a small workshop in Rajasthan. No two are identical — look closely and you will see where the hand pressed harder. That is the point. When you give one, you are giving a few hours of someone's skilled work, and 10% of profits to grassroots initiatives across India goes with it.
